37th Annual Homenetmen Canada Games
The Annual Regional Games were held in Toronto during the weekend of November 23 - 25. Over 150 athletes, coaches, managers and representatives from Montreal participated in ball hockey, soccer, basketball, ping pong, and track and field events held on several sites.
The following chapters participated in this year's games: Toronto, Cambridge, Montreal, London, Orange County, Pasadena, Providence and Washington.
The Victory Dance held Saturday night featured Armenian rapper R-Mean along with Princess.
HMontreal won the gold in many track & field events as well as the following:
• Midget boys soccer
• Junior boys soccer
• Senior women basketball
• Senior men ball hockey
• Ping pong (overall)
Congratulations to all our athletes, coaches and representatives and continued success for the season and next year's Games!

Tournoi de Soccer
Les équipes de Homenetmen soccer U-8 et U-9 ont participées le 8 et le 9 décembre 2007 au tournoi de soccer organisé par la Ville de Montréal à l'école évangéline située sur le boul. L'Acadie.
L'équipe U-8 a obtenu la première position en remportant la médaille d'or de sa catégorie. Merci à l'entraîneur Akop Ousisian et son assistant Koko Ohannessian.
L'équipe U-9 pour sa part a terminée en troisième position de sa catégorie en remportant la médaille de bronze. Merci à l'entraîneur Koko Boulsaji et son assistante Maral Jakian.
Merci également aux parents pour avoir participé en grand nombre à cet événement.
Cette événement était coordonné par le Comité de soccer.
AGBU Thanksgiving Weekend Basketball Tournament
Our Senior Men and Women's basketball teams were invited to the Annual AGBU Thanksgiving Weekend Basketball Tournament held from Oct. 5 - 7, 2007 at the A. Manoogian Complex in Montreal.
Our Senior women faired well beating the Montreal AGBU team, but losing to the AGBU Toronto team.
Our Senior Men's team won the championship, defeating AGBU Montreal in the final. Melhi Batri was selected as the tournament MVP.
Congratulations to both teams and good luck on the season!
37th Annual Canada Regional Games
Please be advised that Homenetmen-Gamk, Montreal will be participating in the 37th Annual Canada Regional Games to be held in Toronto from Friday, November 23 to Sunday, November 25, 2007.
Departure: Community Centre (ACC) Friday evening, Nov. 23 @ 18:00 p.m.
Return: ACC Sunday night, November 25.
Cost: $150 (includes: Hotel for 2 nights' accommodation, transportation, participation fee and Saturday night dinner & party).

Festival de Soccer
Festival Homenetmen Gamk Soccer
On Sunday, August 26, 2007 under sunny skies, Homenetmen Gamk's Soccer Committee held their annual Soccer Festival and Bar-B-Q at Louisbourg Park. This year the Festival invited guest teams from F.S.S. Salaberry. Over 120 Homenetmen and guest players participated in the tournament. The teams included boys U/7, U/8, U/9, U/10, U/11, girl's U/14, boys U/15 and U/16. Also participating were the U/18 boys vs the Veterans. At 4:00 pm the closing ceremony awarded every participant a medal.
With well over 500 people in attendance, children along with family and friends enjoyed the delicious kebab, refreshments and cotton candy. The day's events were further highlighted by face-painting activities generously provided by Tamar and Nanor . DJ Sevag graciously provided a lively atmosphere with music.

HMEM U.S. East Coast 17th Annual Games
Congratulations to our Senior Women's Basketball team who won the gold at the Homenetmen U.S. East Coast 17th Annual Olympic Games, held in Detroit from June 30 to July 4, 2007.
17th Annual Eastern USA Regional Games
Please be advised that Homenetmen Gamk Montreal will be participating in the 17th Annual Eastern USA Games to be held in Detroit from Saturday, June 30 to Wednesday, July 4, 2007. If you would like to attend here are the details.
Departure: Armenian Community Centre (ACC) Friday evening, June 29.
