Festival de Soccer 2008
Les équipes U-8 et U-9 de soccer ont participés le 6 et le 7 décembre 2008 au festival de soccer organisé par la Ville de Montréal a l'École Évangeline.
L'équipe U-8 a terminé en troisième place et l'équipe U-9 a terminé en quatrième place.

38th Annual Canada Games
On American Thanskgiving weekend from Nov. 28 - 30, 2008, Homenetmen Gamk Montreal, on behalf of Homenetmen Canada organized the 38th Annual Canadian Sports Tournament. More than 37 teams from 6 different chapters competed in 47 games in less than 48 hours.
Teams from Orange County, San Fernando Valley, Chicago, Providence, Cambridge, Toronto and Montreal, competed in floor hockey, indoor soccer, volleyball and basketball. The Games were held at various venues throughout the greater Montreal area; Centre Communautaire Armenien, Vanier College, Sportsplex de Ste. Eustache, and Sourp Hagop School. Over 300 people attended the Saturday night Victory Dance with the entertainment of the Kevork Artinian band. Sunday morning began with the finals in several of the sports divisions and a cocktail was simultaneously held for our special guests from fellow associations, representatives from the various chapters and regions, and political dignitaries. The closing ceremonies continued with a parade featuring the scouting groups, the marching band and all the athletes competing in the weekend's tournament. Trophies and medals were handed out to many of the teams.

On September 28, 2008, our Homenetmen U15 Boys soccer team captured the gold medal in the NDG Summer Soccer League.

Soirée de reconnaissance/ Coaches Reception
Le 9 octobre 2008, une soirée de reconnaissance a été organisé par l'exécutif et le comité sportif de Homenetmen Gamk de Montréal pour remercier les bénévoles des catégories sportifs (entraîneurs, assistants, gérants, etc.). La soirée a eue lieu au centre communautaire arménien et quelques trentaine de personnes ont pris part à cette soirée. Voici quelques photos de la soirée.

Soccer Coaches' Clinic
Soccer coaches along with Athletics and Executive Committee members got together to discuss issues regarding leagues, players, parents, and strategy.
Cambridge One Day Soccer Tournament
Close to midnight on Friday, May 2nd, some of Montreal's soccer teams left for Cambridge to participate in a one day soccer tournament, followed by a dinner party that same night. There were no signs of fatigue on the soccer field or the dance floor, not until the players mounted the bus for the ride back to Montreal on Sunday.

Homenetmen Gamk Bantam and Midget Teams Compete in the DJ Sports League 07-08 Playoffs
Homenetmen Gamk Bantam Girls' team wins DJ Sports Championship beating the St. Hubert Lynx 27 - 15.
GAMK Bantam Boys' team lost in the final to DJ Sports.
GAMK Midget Boys' team lost in the semi-finals against YMCA Hochelaga.
Congratulations to the Bantam Girls' team for bringing home the gold and all teams for a valiant effort!
