Homenetmen Shield

The Homenetmen Shield is depicted on the organization’s flag. It encircles the initials of the organization’s name (Armenian General Union for Physical Education and Scouts- Հ.Մ.Ը.Մ.) written in Armenian letters. The shield has the same three colors as the Armenian national flag: red, blue, and orange. The flag’s red and blue sections are covered in black horizontal stripes.
The logo was first showcased during the first Homenetmen Navasardian Games, in August 1919, when athletes sported it on their shirts.
Homenetmen’s shield is also depicted on the flags of its chapters.
